Erich: Now, remember, I have been recommending also that you go to other people's classes because everyone is teaching something different, and it's good to get a lot of different information. In here, it has been mostly talking — not mostly, but a large portion. There is more talking in my classes these days than most classes, and there is less asana instruction — which feels fine to me. I have taught asana instruction for 40 years. It's sort of like, “Go to someone else's class for that,” though it is super important. Learn it. Really. Learn it. Asana alignment is interesting.
Erich: So, as a reminder... and I probably don't need to say this, and yet I am being prompted to say this, since I've got the chance and since we're here:
That's what it is.
Just be clear on that.
Yoga is about lifestyle. The way you do your thing. All the time.
The insight, remember, is that "all the time" simply means the New Now that you find yourself in. So, it will be a constant, “Oh yeah, Now! Oh yeah, Now. Oh yeah, Now. Oh yeah, Now. Now is when I do my lifestyle.”
Erich: Yes. Whenever it occurs to you. Just that in itself is a good thing to remember.
Therefore, in terms of homework, you don't have to remember to do it from now on. But, if it occurs to you — WHEN it occurs to you — that is the exact moment you should be doing it.
When it occurs to you that is the Universe tapping you on the shoulder, saying, "Pssst... do the homework."
So, blow off having to remember to do anything.
But, increasingly, be willing. When it occurs to you, get it. "Oh yeah! OK. Right now is the exact moment to do the homework."
Erich: So, one more thing. What I have been saying is that the feeling-tone of Infinity is the ease of Being, and that your real DNA is G-O-D.
Again, just hear that. This is a fundamental idea, like two plus two is four. You have to learn that, at a certain point. "Oh! Two plus two is four. It's not five. It's not three."
Your real DNA is G-O-D. It's not anything other than that.
Therefore, whatever the nature of G-O-D is, is what you should be identifying yourself as. Otherwise, you are going to be walking around as a "three" or a "five" in the middle of a four-world...
Erich: So, again, thank you for coming to class today. Thank you for coming as regularly as many of you have been coming. I appreciate it. It inspires me. It makes me want to do better.
I always ask inwardly for guidance about what to talk about and what to do in here. What keeps coming up is, "Keep hammering on what we've been hammering on" — until we're a little clearer about it, and a little clearer about it, and a little clearer about it. Until it's obvious that, "Yes, that's sort of the way it is. Maybe that's the way it is. Yes, that's the way it is. Maybe. Yes. No. Maybe. Yes."
Again, it revolves around the word "infinity" — which may not seem relevant. And yet, as it turns out, it's the relevant concept. We have been talking about this a lot. I don't need to keep saying it the same way, again and again. But, the gist of it... And just sort of hear this.
Infinity is The All.
Infinity is the Conscious Space of Awareness in which everything that's happening is happening...
