I think there is a difference between spontaneous awakening, as a yogi, and teaching enlightenment. Can we really ‘teach’ enlightenment? I feel that the method almost encourages one to ‘expect’ something or to ‘look’ for that something. In my experience, it was, without realizing it at the time, totally spontaneous yoga body and zen mind that allowed me to flow into the now. I think it would have been different if I had been looking for it or expecting it to happen. Maybe that’s the Zen Way (Big Mind)(for me) but not the only way. Just sayin’ and would appreciate your thoughts on this. And I realize that you are the finger pointing at the moon…it also arises that one can look forever and never see. I have been following you for 20 years….amazed! Heartfelt Blessings to you Erich for all you do. Please don’t take this as criticism, it is a question I have been asking myself for a while.
